well...nothing is too new here. matt's friends paul and jason visited us the week after i got back from being up north. that was fun. we went out and went to medieval times, and our knight won. hmm other than that..nothing too much. I have my photographer, my florist, my hall, my church, my dress, and my salon, and so all i have left is my cake person, and my dad said he wanted to find that for me. yay :)

well so far I've had a really good visit. Thurs meagan and i hung out, then at night andy and i watch some movies. Friday hung out with "the gang" and then jackie, jon (who is very nice), andy and i went bowling (oh yea i won. i got 133) and carrie was there. Then sat was davids bridal. we got my dress, mackos dress and the bridemaids dresses pick out. Plus i picked up my dress for tabithas wedding. Then was lunch with my mom, aunt deb, aunt cathy, uncle, and chris and matt, and meagan, macko and tabitha. that was a very interesting lunch. then to aunt cathys to see the 3 week old puppies. then we went dancing (me and tabitha). kimmy and josh met us there, but wouldnt dance. then yesterday i went to church to meet the pastor very very early. then i saw the hall, which was very cool. Theres a huge fireplace. and a nice big dance floor. Then last night my dad kelly and i went to chicago to see some live music at this awesome coffee house/bar/restaurant. soo yea. its been hectic. Thank you everyone for hanging out with me :)

Allright. So several weeks ago we gave leon (the dog) away because when he would get angry at us, he would pee. like if we wouldnt let him on the couch, he would pee on the floor. it got to be wayy to stressful, plus we didnt want the apartment to smell like dog urine. So then yesterday I saw an ad for a free dog, who was housetrained and stuff. I called. we now have another dog. her name is allie, shes around 2 years old. shes a beagle german shepherd mix. she is beautiful. but even though we have a fenced in yard, we still have to take her out on a leash because she can jump the fence.

and then about a week ago, i decided to buy myself a birthday present. so i got a tattoo. of a butterfly, on my lower back.

im really happy with it, he did a great job. other than that, im pretty excited. in a week i get to visit back up north and see all my friends.

Hey everyone. Just to let you all know, i have not yet bought my plane tickets to fly up north. However, I plan to be up there either tues 28-march 7 (also a tues)..or like the wed to wed, or thurs to thurs. Not sure yet. either way I will be in town for the weekend of the 3rd (which if im not mistaken so is jackie, and carrie..and im assuming kimmy too. and krissy of course :) my only plans so far are sat night (like around 10 pm) tab and stever are taking me out for my birthday. and i have to pick out my dress and bridesmaid dresses. sooo... yea. as soon as i know the exact date, ill let you know. and carrie, when is your spring break? and kimmy when is yours? just so i know. melissa.

well we've finally found a hall for the wedding (which is going to be oct 20th around 5 pm..well the church part, and then the reception after) its called after four supper club. my dad said its nice, so im trusting him on this one. but it sounds cool. it has a fireplace and a grand piano and a nice big dance floor. another bonus is that in the state of indiana, if you have an open bar, you have to have an on duty police officer. well for some reason they dont have to (which means we can sneak carrie drinks...)hmm..what else. i will be coming back up north the first week in march. and thats really about it. miss you guys!

hey everyone. hope all of you had wonderful christmas break from school and everything else. I did. well not from school, but i did have a nice christmas. anyways..andy just left for home. we had a fun time. went to daytona one day and found a bar that had live music and that was awesome. we played mario party a bunch, i won 2 times, andy once, and matt all the other times. then today i went and tried on dresses. i found 2 that i reallllly like. so ill upload photos of them (they look better on me of course :)

hmm..other than that, nothing too new. i think ill be going back up north in february/march. like the last week in feb, first in march. so kimmy, you should go to nw indiana and coem party with me because we'll both be 21. hmm...allright, talk to you all later.

hi everyone..well matt asked me to marry him last night. it was awesome. and i cried (of course). and im so happy. my ring is a bit loose, but im waiting until after the holidays to get it resized because i want to show it off at christmas.

well the picture is kinda blurry...but the main diamond is a princess cut, then there are 7 small diamonds on each side of it. it also came with the wedding band and the wedding band is a bunch of small diamonds all in a row. perfect: simple and elegant. i love it.

well. nothin really too new is going on. matt is visiting the chicago area this week (he comes back monay) its kinda lonely without him here, ive gotten used to him always being here when i am, since hes been off work for awhile. anyways, i went shopping on tuesday in orlando..got some cool stuff (christmas presents, i also got myself a nightmare before christmas shirt)then i slmost finished up today, only one more to get, which i think im just buyinbg a girftcard...not sure
today at work i got a $20 tip. that was awesome. and it was only 3 people..whose bill was probably around 40..maybe 45. so that was awesome...otherthan that..nothing too new. allright, ok...bye

well just to give everyone a quick update, matt is out of the hospital they took his staples out of his stomach today and he should be able to go back to work on dec. 12th. I dont think hes in too much pain, he gets tired really easy though and he lost quite a bit of weight..but hes home and thats a relief. (well actually hes at his parents and im staying there too because he cant drive and he would be stuck at the apartment otherwise)..anyways..sonny's is closed for thanksgiving so i wont have to work, which will be nice..im excited. and we're closed for christmas too, which is awesome..anyways im going to go, i have to go back to work soon.

well matt actually had his surgery today, not tomorrow as originally planned. he did well...in icu right now but will probably be put into a regular room on tuesday. the dr. said he'll probably have another 1-1 1/2 weeks in the hospital, then another 1 1/2 - 2 weeks at home to recover. he should be able to get about 60% of his pay with short term disability, so thats a relief. Im so just exhausted recently from a combination of not sleeping and worrying a lot. soo im going to go to bed soonish, bye.

well first off id like to say happy birthday to kimmy and carrie. hope you all have loads of fun at purdue, wish i couldve been there.
its been a rough week. meagan had some problems, and then matts in the hospital because his crohn's got really bad, he had been in terrible pain and called off work for a week straight. i havent gotten any sleep at all (well 3 hours) and ive been worried and its not been fun. but i think theyve decided what theyre going to do (he talks to the surgeon tomorrow) and it sounds like theyre going to operate on monday..soo hopefully that helps him. anyways, i have to go to bed, im going to collapse soon.

Hey everyone. soo meagan came down and visited last week. (she was down wed-mon) we had a lot of fun. We went to my grandmas for 2 days then back here to ocala. and then sunday we went to daytona. daytona was cold, but still fun. then monday night (after dropping off meagan at the airport) we all took cole trick or treating, and that was fun. he was cute as a little dragon. i think tonight we may go see a movie with some of our neighbors. and then today i took my server test at sonnys, so we'll see how that goes. ihave to stop in there tonight to find out if i passed or not and if i passed i can pick up shifts. hmm..what else. nothin really. matt and i arent sure when were gonna be able to make it back up north. maybe like feb 21-29 (for my birthday) but we're not sure, because it seems like everyone is coming to visit in march. all matts friends, kimmy and andy were talking about comeing then, and my dad and meagan and macko. sooo not sure. we'll see i suppose. allright, i hafta go to the bank, and then to the post office, and then back to sonnys, and then get some toothpaste, because were out. byeeee

wow. so i dont know if any of you guys have met my friends steve and tabitha, that i used to work with at blockbuster. They're the ones that have the daughter, lily. well i just found out they got engaged on tuesday night. They're going to be married sept. 9th. 2006. so i will be home then because there is no way im going to be missing 2 of my best freind's wedding. you guys have no idea how excited i am for them. eeee.

Nothing to exciting in my life really..except we got our couch. its not the beautiful white leather one i wanted..but its very nice. Plus more people can fit on it because on a regular couch, only 3 can fit, on this one 5 can fit comfortably, 6 if you make someone sit in the little corner cushion (thanks kimmy for the spelling help). Itll look nice. Now all i have left to find is a red coffee pot and red toaster...and if i can find a red microwave, thatd be cool too. hmm nothing else too new, excpet within the past 2 days i have watched alomst 3 seasons of sex and the city. i got very emotionally invovled with all the women on the show, and i am horribly sad that i ran out of episodes to watch. since they ended the show and are making no more, im thinking about starting from season one and watching them all again. oh i love that show.

Nothing really exciting going on. I'm tireder than anything because I havn't been getting much sleep due to the fact that i have to wake up at the crack of dawn (that comment always reminds me of the time meagan said something about my mothers butt crack, remarking "look its the crack of dawn" being that my moms name is dawn). So yea, i've been working a lot around 45+ hours a week. Which will be a nice paycheck, just a little worn down. I did however have fun with my camera phone tonight taking pictures of my puppy, Leon.

For mine and matt's 3 year anniversary we went out to dinner at this cool italian restaraunt. which was realllly good. Then we went to this play. It was..interesting. The acting was really good. But the play was quite long. It was an "operetta" set in japan and it was like 3 1/2 hours long. And you couldnt really understand what the actors were saying because they were singing opera. But, it was something different. We're gonna see some more there, and cats is playing later this year. Ive never seen cats so i really want to see that one.

I also watched an amazing movie the other day called "girl in the cafe" or "girl from the cafe" something like that. From the people who made love actually. Its a brittish film, but absolutly heartbreaking. about human rights, and starving children, and the diplomats in england and stuff. I cried. but it was a great movie. A really cute happy movie is fever pitch. the baseball movie with drew barrymore and jimmy fallon.

soo we picked up leon today. he is so cool. and he gives kisses. ohh im so excited. and then matt and i move into our apartment in 3 weeks, which is awesome and i am soooo excited about that too.
Anyways..This weekend was awesome. My aunt cathy, cousin chris, and his girlfriend jamie all came to daytona. So sat night i went over there after work and then hung out until sunday afternoon. It was a lot of fun, we ate, hung out on the beach and i got to drink some really nice wine. It was a lot of fun seeing them. nothing else new is really going on. but in 3 weeks we'll have our own apartment, so anytime anyone wants to visit, they are more than welcome. All you have to do is get down here, either car or plane. and then you pretty much have a free vacation. You have to pay for your own food..but other than that, no hotel to pay for. soo anyone wants a fun florida vacation, give me a call!

Sooo..I think Im going to be getting my own apartment. We still have to sign paperwork and run credit and fun stuff..but almost positive we'll get it. We'd be moving in around sept. 17th or so. So i bought lots of fun stuff (shower curtains, rugs, towels, plates, cups, pot, pans, silverwear) and all that other fun stuff. Still havent found a couch for a reasonable price (i might end up getting the white leather one for $550..but not sure yet) But im reallllly excited. Its only about 5 -10 min. from work, and right near downtown ocala..pretty close to the mall and my coffee shop. yay! so here some of the things ive bought so far:

my towels match the colors in the shower curtain: red, white, yellow and green. then i got a yellow garbage can, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder and rug.

plus i got stuff from kirklands (I love that store) but that web site wont load..I got cool lamps and some pictures. anyways. you guys can visit any time (just give me a warning so i can attempt to get off work) and see my very own apartment.

yeap- so i had an awesome visit with kim and andy. i didnt get too burned spending 4 days at the beach- only my butt, nose and forhead. and we actually had better weather than i thought we were gonna have, so that was cool too. i had to work 2 of the days and that sucked but oh well. while they were here, kimmy got her ear repierced, andy got a tattoo, and matt got his ear pierced. i had to work, so i couldnt, but then matt felt that i should get something done-since tattoos are too expensive, i got my ear pierced- but not the lobe or cartilage-the part that connects to the face-this little squiggly part. it didnt hurt bad at all.
i dont know what made me start thinking about it- but its amazing how one little choice can affect your whole life. i mean, for example if i had never decided to walk up and talk to matt i would have never moved to florida. and then who would i be dating- if i would be in fact dating anyone. and where would i be living? in muncie where i had originally planned on going to school? and if that was true- would carrie and i be better friends, since both of us would be there. its crazy when you really start thinking about it. anyways- nothing else is new.
